ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Eclipse Premiere
Tonight was the highly anticipated Eclipse premiere. I was so excited when E! asked me to be the fashion expert for their live online stream. Before the carpet began, I caught up with my fab E! Online pals Marc Malkin and Taryn Ryder (and did a little posing in the sun with Edward).
Then it was showtime. Ben Lyons hosted the three-hour event and if you didn’t see it you totally missed out. He did such an incredible job! I chatted about fashion (Dakota Fanning was my fave), Ted Casablanca dished about Twilight gossip and Jason Kennedy jumped in for interviews. I had such a blast and am so happy I decided to do my own wardrobe. The black bandage style dress seemed very Twilight appropriate and the stretchy fabric made it easy to breathe and move around as the carpet got crowded. A dark, sparkly chain necklace brought a little glamorous mystery, and even though you couldn’t see my shoes on-air, stilettos always add confidence.

Get the look…

I just wanted to share some exciting news with you guys. On Thursday, I’ll be joining Ted Casablanca, Ben Lyons and Jason Kennedy at the LA premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse! E! Online is live streaming the event at 5 pm PT/ 8 pm ET. I can’t wait to see what Kristen Stewart wears. She’s really found her style. Remember when she used to hunch uncomfortably in couture gowns? Well recently, it’s been all smiles in mini dress after mini dress. Let’s hope she keeps it up!
Head over to E! Online for more Twilight dish, and make sure to tune in Thursday!
If I thought Jimmy Choo for H&M was crazy, I should have driven down to Westwood to put things in perspective. Twilight fans have been lining up since Thursday to catch a glimpse of Robsten & Co. at tonight’s premiere of New Moon.(That’s FOUR nights!!!)
If you’re planning to go see the flick, I think Wildfox Couture’s Vampire Love Jumper ($108) is the perfect thing to wear. It doesn’t matter if you’re on Team Edward or Team Jacob, or if you love Kristen Stewart because she plays Bella or hate her because she gets to kiss Rob Pattinson everyday.
The sweatshirt is completely neutral and just adorable with its blood-dripping smiley face. Lindsay Lohan wore it in yellow but I prefer the coral version. Throw it on over leggings and motorcycle boots and you’ll be comfortable but one of the best dressed amongst all those Twi-hards in line.
My friends just invited me over for some pumpkin carving and I must say I’m pretty impressed with what we came up with. Since I’m having a masquerade Halloween party this weekend, I went with a masked Robin, Jason and pirate jack-o-lantern. But my fave was the tri-skeleton gourd on the far right. How amazing did it turn out?! FearNet has some pretty cool ideas and stencils if you want to have a Twilight pumpkin carving party. ‘Causes everyone wants a glowing Edward in their living room, right?
ttF Daily Faves hibernated during Fashion Week but they’ve returned now that all the spring trends are covered. For the rest of October, I’m dedicating each Daily Fave to my fave holiday, Halloween. Yesterday was Heidi Klum’s costume tips. And today is In Style’s new The Twilight Saga: New Moon makeovers.
Everyone wants to be a vampire these days, and if you can’t get a MAC makeup artist to turn you into one, all you need to do is upload a picture of yourself on to Instyle.com. I transformed into Rosalie, but Alice, Esme, Jane and of course Bella are also available. Alice probably would have been a better choice considering Nikki Reed pulls off blonde hair way better than I do.
There are even Edward, Jacob and Carlisle options if your hubby wants to join in on the Twilight fun too.
