What should I be for Halloween? That’s the question I’ve been hearing for the past week. If you’re like me you’ve already been thinking about what to wear this year. But if you’re costume clueless, here’s some inspiration straight off the runways of New York, Milan and Paris. Hit up your local vintage shop, dig through your closet, break out the glue gun and have fun!

Geometric
While the black and white geometric prints reminded me of some of the looks I saw for fall, I fell in love with the colorful take on the trend. BCBG’s patterned shapes on flirty dresses were especially impressive.

Neck Ties
I wasn’t a fan of the bow tie time last fashion week and my feelings haven’t changed. I have a few of the looser neck ties but they’re so common now that I have a feeling I’ll be sick of them come spring.

Hair Bows
It’s the Gossip Girl effect. Bows were all up in the hair of models at fashion week. Although, I couldn’t imagine Blair Waldorf wearing the side ponytails at Milly.

Who doesn’t feel sexy in leopard? This season I like the way designers are combing spots with contrasting prints like cherry blossoms and tweed.
