ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Super Bowl Sunday
I’m not a fan of this picture but I think it’s important for fashion bloggers to show all outfits—even on days when you’ve only gotten four hours of sleep. So is this my most stylish look? No. But it definitley worked for party in Santa Monica that temporarily turned into a frat house to watch the Saints win the game.

ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Lakers Love
While I was at work yesterday, my friend Kinya bbmed me to see if I wanted to go with her to a Laker game. I don’t know why she bothered asking. I’m always up to see Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher.
Literally right before she asked, I had been looking at pictures of Jennifer Lopez in yet another non-football friendly outfit at Sunday’s Miami Dolphins game. Fergie, who also attended the game, got it right.
Sporting events are not the time to think you’re on the red carpet. A fitted team top with skinny jeans always works. If you’re going out afterward, throw on some cool booties like Fergs or a leather jacket like Kinya did below.
You can also simply wear the team’s colors. Since I’m obviously a Lakers fan, I have plenty of purple and gold in my closet. If I’m at work or going out later, I’ll be discreet with just colorful accessories. But at games I prefer to be more obvious like I was last night. Even though the Clippers beat the Lakers, at least I liked my outfit.
