ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Caress Girls Night Out
Because she’s oh so fabulous, Caress asked my friend Nadine of the popular beauty blog Nadine Jolie to host a little girls night out. She invited her friends including Jamie of Queen of the Quarter Life Crisis, Roxy of Red Carpet Roxy, Kayte of La Bella Vita and moi over for cocktails before the limo arrived. We sipped martinis and posed for pics with the new Caress Whipped Souffle body wash.
Then, it was off to Drai’s in Hollywood for a night of dancing and more pictures in our cabana. My sparkly cardigan fit in perfectly with the Vegas-style club. And the über talented MAC Cosmetics Senior Artist John Stapleton added extra drama with an intense purple smoky eye. It’s a little more makeup than I usually wear but I after seeing Jamie’s awesome eyes I had to take it up a notch.
Want to win some body wash so your skin can be super smooth too? Nadine’s giving some away! Details here.

One of the Jimmy Choo for H&M items I bought was this sequin racer-back top ($69.95). Online, it was styled with leather pants and booties from the collection. Here, I’ve shown six other ways you can wear it. What’s cool about the top is it has two layers. So when you get bored of the sheer chiffon overlay, you can easily snip it off and have a new silver tunic to wear.

Just as I’m starting to get sequined out, Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theysken comes along scattering gold beads over my girl crush, Lily Donaldson. The sequined shoes were a little much, but that turtleneck gown was one of my favorite looks of Paris Fashion Week. It made me fall in love with sparkle, shimmer and shine all over again.
