New York Fashion Week actually ends tomorrow but today’s my last day—and what a great day it has been. After Nanette Lepore in the morning, I checked out lia sophia’s new jewelry collection then stopped by the Nintendo DSi Lounge to get an Oscar Blandi blowout, Temptu airbrush makeup touch up and an Essie mani. After the pampering sesh, I got a preview of Spanx’s new swimwear line, as well as what’s in store for fall, and then headed back to the tents for Milly.

Today’s highlight was definitely Marchesa. Georgina Chapman is a designing genius when it comes to feminine masterpieces and I was mesmerized by each and every gown. I shared a cab back to Bryant Park with Catherine of Red Carpet Fashion Awards—she’s featured in the March edition of Vogue!—then watched Alexandre Herchocovitch’s show before ending my day front row at Brian Reyes. It’s been such a wonderful week but I have to go back to Los Angeles so I can break down all the trends I saw on the runway!

I rarely wear flats at Fashion Week. At only 5′3 I need at least a 3-inch heel to feel chic around all these models. But after almost slipping in the slush last night, I decided to be practical for a change and wear my snow boots in the snow. After Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang I seriously debated going back to my hotel to grab my high-heel booties. But literally as I was about to leave the tents a photographer from British Vogue asked to take my picture. Just that one moment changed my mind. It’s funny what a compliment can do to one’s self esteem. And I did like the rest of my outfit—even though AnnaLynne McCord had just worn the same Ph8 skirt in gray at Ecco Domani the night before. Plus, the boots certainly came in handy trekking down to Milk for Temperley London’s fantastic True British presentation, and then over to the Hammerstein Ballroom for G-Star.

I asked a photographer in the tents to take a picture for me today. It’s my lease favorite picture yet—and he cut off my feet! At least my day was fab. After starting off the morning front row at Carlos Miele I went on to  Jill Stuart and Tracy Reese. Then I had lunch with the awesome Budget Babe, got to see Monique Lhullier’s stunning dresses, and then interviewed the designer and Phillip Bloch (again) backstage—you can read about it on mystyle. Then I had front row again at Tadashi Shoji and Ecco Domani before ending my fashion-filled at Perry Ellis. All the front row seats gave me the opportunity to snap some beautiful runway pics that I uploaded to Twitter.

ttF Fashion Diary: Winter Florals
Happy Valentine’s Day! To tell you the truth, I actually forgot about the holiday because all that’s on my mind is fashion this week. But when I remembered it was heart day, I decided to take my daily photo in the Heart Truth booth at the tents, posing with a dress Fergie wore in a past show.

Since I was seeing Rebecca Taylor in the morning, I wore one of my favorite pieces I own from the designer and I threw my hair into Spring’s trendy side braid after it refused to cooperate.

Like usual, Rebecca made me want just about every piece in her collection and I was beyond thrilled she went faux in this fur-filled season. Luca Luca was also a highlight today. There was so much movement in the gowns and pleated skirts. I was under-impressed with Hervé Léger but overly impressed with Malandrino. Catherine Malandrino went tribal ultra luxe for fall with textured leathers, leopard, cavewoman chic jewelry and killer platform shoes. The blue velvet look below was my fave at the presentation.

ttF Faves: Phillip Bloch’s Best Bryant Park Memories

Fall 2010 is the last season that will ever show at Bryant Park. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week moves to Lincoln Park for spring. So I’ve been asking people their favorite Bryant Park memories. Phillip Bloch, probably the most charismatic stylist in the industry, had plenty to share. My new fashion week buddy Rob, aka Fashion Luvr, caught it on all on his blackberry in the clip above.

ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Velvet Drama
I’ve been going to so many shows that even the thought of a night out is exhausting. But I promised my New York bestie at least one girl’s night. We were going to dinner first so wearing second skin velvet wasn’t the brightest choice but I figured at least it would keep me from over indulging. It ended up not mattering. Long story short, there was the drama at the restaurant and we ended eating at some less fancy joint in Times Square then ditching the clubs for girl’s talk in our pajamas. It’s too bad, too. I really liked my outfit and thought my brooch with bracelets combo was pretty clever. C’est la vie.
