This just in: Costco now sells Chanel and Louis Vuitton! Granted, they’re still way out of most people’s price range but just the fact you can actually get high designer goods while buying Kirkland oatmeal in bulk is a pretty cool concept. But don’t expect to see quilted and monogrammed bags in every warehouse. So far, they’ve only been spotted in the new Harlem location. Those lucky New Yorkers.

Spring 2010 Paris Fashion Week Trends: Hesitant About… Cargo

Cargo
As much as I like military, I’m not excited for the cargo pant.. or short or skirt. The pockets are practical, yes. But with those extra pockets comes extra volume to your hips and legs. And who wants that?

Spring 2010 Paris Fashion Week Trends: Still Loving… Military

Military
At first I adored anything with gold buttons and tassels. But when everyone in Hollywood started wearing Balmain’s jackets, I got a little bored of the military trend. But since it’s not going anywhere anytime soon, I’m willing to give it another chance. Plus, army green really makes my eyes pop.

Spring 2010 Paris Fashion Week Trends: Excited For… Cropped Jackets

Cropped Jackets
The boyfriend blazer is my go-to choice when I’m wearing my denim leggings or a mini. But it’s overpowering with a basic pair of slacks. A cropped jacket, on the other hand, is just right. I especially like them worn over a fluid long top as shown at Vanessa Bruno.

Spring 2010 Paris Fashion Week Trends: Hesitant About… Jagged Edges

Jagged Edges
Viktor & Rolf’s tulle creations were certainly eye-catching, just not wearable unless you’re doing a photo shoot for Bazaar. The rest weren’t as dramatic, but I’m still not into raw hemlines.

Fall 2009 Paris Fashion Week Trends: Excited For… Voluminous Skirts
From knee-length tulips and micro mini bubbles to floor-length bell shapes and mini lampshades the skirts at Paris Fashion Week all had one defining factor: voluminous hips. As much as I love my pencil skirts, I’m excited to flounce around in fall’s roomy shapes.
