My hands down favorite look at the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was Diane Kruger in Jason Wu and Harry Winston jewels. The only word to describe her is absolute perfection. Lea Michele in Malandrino was my runner up.
See who else I voted best—and worst—dressed in Fandango’s Awards Watch 2010 Fashion Spotlight.

I know I’m a little late in wishing Sesame Street a Happy 40th Anniversary, but you have to excuse me. I was spending the past six days jumping in the fall leaves in Boston Commons (LA isn’t exactly known for its change of seasons). But now that I’m back I have a lot of catching up to do.
Like, a) Dakota Fanning looks Stuh-Ning in Teen Vogue’s December issue. With a face like that and her incredible talent, she’s bound to be the next Meryl Streep.
b) Iman wore my absolute favorite dress from Jason Wu’s spring collection. I’ve never seen a prettier high fashion flamingo.
And c) Sesame Street celebrated its 40th Anniversary. American Apparel teamed up with Mighty Fine and designed these adorable unisex tees ($25) in commemoration. I’m a Cookie Monster girl myself, but the Big Bird one is pretty cute, too.

Black & White Prints
It seemed as though just about every type of print comes in black and white for spring: artistic, geometric, graphic, tribal, you name it. I especially like the mixed patterns at Naeem Khan.

Pale Pink
Bubblegum and cotton candy are delicious in moderation but how much sweetness can you take? I loved how Jason Wu contrasted his blush feather dress with bright green but the monochromatic pink ensembles were a little too much.

Derby Hats
Okay, so this isn’t necessarily the most practical trend but how could you not adore the statement headwear that came down the runways? I’ve always wanted to wear one of those fabulously over-the-top hats. I might just have to go down to Del Mar next summer for the opening of racing season to try out the stylish toppers.

Polka Dots
Make sure you buy polka dot prints when the fall versions go on sale. You can wear them with just about anything: solids, jeans, stripes or even more polka dots.
