ttF Fashion Staples Series Diary: Pulls and Princess Roses
This weekend I’m going to work with stylist Reinaldo Irizarry on a a two-day fashion shoot. Yesterday, he went down to pull from stores in San Diego so today, I joined him downtown in Los Angeles to get the last bit of jewelry and shoes for the shoot. We picked up goodies from Chic Little Devil, A-Line Media and the California Market Center. When I got home there was a box from Disney. I started unwrapping the roses inside and discovered Cinderella’s face. My parents got me princess roses for my birthday! I’ve never seen printed flowers before and from a first-hand experience, if you ever send them as a gift, the recipient will be extremely touched.

In honor of Barbie’s 50th Birthday, Mattel created the 
($50). The decadent ball gown features a patchwork of Barbie illustrations and logos throughout the years. I have a box of collector’s edition Barbies buried somewhere in my parent’s garage from when I was a child. I’d love to add this one to the mix. If only I was still awarded a trip to Toys “R” Us for being a good little girl.
