Forever 21: Coming to a Home Near You

Forever 21 Set to Open a Home Collection

Forever 21 has mastered the art of bringing trendy clothing and accessories to the masses at way affordable prices. With the addition of Love21 and Faith21, just about every type of woman and girl is able to find at least some item to spruce up their wardrobe.

So what’s up next? A home line! “It is true,” Forever 21’s official Twitter tweeted to me this morning when I asked about the new home collection. “There is no set launch date just yet. We are currently in very early stages of development.” For the time being, my apartment anxiously awaits funky new F21 pillows and frames.

One Forever 21 Cap-Sleeve Dress, The Budget Babe’s 6 Looks

The Budget Babe's Forever 21 Cotton Cap Sleeve Dress

When it comes to affordable fashion, The Budget Babe has you covered. Through easy-to-follow dress by number series, she teaches how to get celebrity style without an A-list paycheck. The Budget Babe took a break from bargain shopping to do a guest post showing how she styles her Forever 21 cotton cap-sleeve belted dress. She tells me she “was drawn to the colorful feather-print and vintage feel of this piece.”

My favorite look is #3. A tunic is the perfect solution for those of you who fear the way your thighs might look in a pair of white skinnies.

Cute and Comfy Booties—For Cheap!

payless-bootiesIf I had a choice of splurging on jewelry, a handbag or shoes I’d 100% choose shoes—as long as those shoes weren’t booties. They’ve been trendy season after season but I never liked the way booties cut off the leg. I remember seeing Gisele in a pair during her Victoria’s Secret days. If they could make a glamazon’s legs appear shorter I was frightened what they could do to my 5′3 frame.

But recently, I’ve found myself wishing I had a pair.

I just bought a few mini skirts and I feel too naked in sandals—and too pre-makeover Pretty Woman in knee-high boots. Not wanting too spend too much money on a trend I don’t love I went on a hunt for affordable booties that didn’t look cheap.

My first stop was Forever 21. But their $24.80 booties looked like they were only $24.80. Same thing happened at Wet Seal and I’ve never liked the quality at Charlotte Russe so I didn’t even waste my time there. My last stop was Payless. And that’s where I struck gold. I could not believe the Alice + Olivia for Payless booties I had on were only $38.

Of course, I bought them without hesitation—and since I love wearing my purchases as soon as I can I slipped them on that night (with this outfit to the left). My friend was in shock when I told her they were from Payless. “Would you mind if I get them too?” she asked when I revealed the price. I usually hate wearing the same things as my friends but I couldn’t do something as selfish as keeping this great find to myself.

If you want the booties as well, call your local Payless before driving over. Not every location carries the Alice + Olivia line. But you can order them online with free in-store shipping. All I ask in return for this info is you send me a picture of yourself wearing the shoes so I can see how you thought thru the booties.
