I just wanted to share some exciting news with you guys. On Thursday, I’ll be joining Ted Casablanca, Ben Lyons and Jason Kennedy at the LA premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse! E! Online is live streaming the event at 5 pm PT/ 8 pm ET. I can’t wait to see what Kristen Stewart wears. She’s really found her style. Remember when she used to hunch uncomfortably in couture gowns? Well recently, it’s been all smiles in mini dress after mini dress. Let’s hope she keeps it up!
Head over to E! Online for more Twilight dish, and make sure to tune in Thursday!
I was thrilled when I saw the theme of Jessica Schroeder’s latest What We Wore Style Challenge: Safari Chic! It could not have a been a more perfect fit for this month’s animal-themed ttF Fashion Staples. I figured most people would go with olives and khaki so I chose to send in my Paper Bag Writer outfit to switch things up a bit with pink silk. Everyone had such great style! It’s always fun to see how people interpret a trend in so many different ways.
When I first saw the Maria Sharipova Evian Live Young ad I was not a fan. A baby body with a gorgeous woman’s face? It’s just weird. Then, I clicked on the videos and I almost died. The babies dancing in roller skates too adorable for words! I know I’m a little late in the game but in case you haven’t seen them I just had to share. Happy Friday! (more…)
Yesterday, I wasn’t the only one wearing zebra. Michelle Obama wore animal stripes, too! It was an OMG moment when I saw a pic of the first lady in a box at the Staples Centers. Her husband is off dealing with the oil spill and she’s watching the Lakers slaughter the Celtics—in zebra no less! Love it. And how cool is her wrist full of stacked bangles?
I’ve spent the past hour clicking away on the newly launched ELLE Fashion TV. There’s so much to choose from: behind-the-scenes at Elle cover shoots, street style, insider dish from Elle editors (including my fave, Joe Zee) DIY tips and so many runway videos that you could spend the entire afternoon on your computer and feel like you’re at Bryant Park.
I especially loved seeing all the animal prints Rihanna wore while shooting the July issue of Elle. It fit in perfectly with this month’s spotted and striped ttF Fashion Staples Series.
“A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything…no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!).”
