Bustiers
Dolce & Gabbana has always been one of my favorite designers to wear. The minute I could afford it, I bought my first D&G bustier dress. Over the years, I’ve collected a decent amount of bustier tops and can’t wait to wear them. The runways showed them over cropped pants but you can also tuck one into a skirt, like Katie Cassidy did at Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood Party.

Draping
Draping is dangerous. Done incorrectly, it can make even the skinniest stars like Lucy Liu look like they have a baby bump. But when a dress hangs perfectly off the body, it’s elegantly dreamy.

Suede
After a fall full of leather, I have a feeling we’ll all gravitate towards spring’s suede options. I know I would do anything for the soft suede flowers at Tibi!

Hoods
Seriously, why won’t this trend go away? Like I said for fall, I love wearing my hoodie when I’m blogging. But looking like a boxer is not my cup of tea.

Piping
Contrasting trim can add a cool retro feel to a simple dress. But it also can turn a piece into artwork. Just look at that ethereal creation at Marc Jacobs! It looked as if the designer outlined the dress with a pencil right before the model walked out on the runway.

Plaid
I don’t hate plaid. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. I just need a break from it at least one season. I don’t think I can bear another summer of seeing every girl in Los Angeles wearing denim cut-offs and a plaid button-down.
