Nude
These aren’t your Carrie Bradshaw naked dresses. The nude creations that came down the catwalk all had something special: suede flowers, tiers of ruffles or sheer paneling.

Derby Hats
Okay, so this isn’t necessarily the most practical trend but how could you not adore the statement headwear that came down the runways? I’ve always wanted to wear one of those fabulously over-the-top hats. I might just have to go down to Del Mar next summer for the opening of racing season to try out the stylish toppers.

Orange
Some people shy away from bright colors. But to me orange screams summer. I just want to get a tan, slip on a tangerine chiffon dress and jet off to St. Tropez sipping a mimosa. Hey, a girl can dream can’t she?

Blazers
It started driving me crazy when just about every other girl at parties I attended had on a black blazer with either cutoffs or denim leggings. I’m just hoping for spring they follow the looks on the runway and switch things up with draped dresses and tulip skirts because I the classic jacket is so very chic.

Leather Shorts
Leather pants? Love. Leather shorts? I just don’t get it. I’ve seen people wear leather shorts with black tights and am not a fan. But it’s even stranger seeing leather shorts for spring. It just reminds of when I got stuck in a pair of leather pants and how uncomfortable it was to take them off because I was getting hot in the dressing room. I never want to experience that feeling again.

Drop Crotch
I like to think of myself as an open person, willing to try new things. But you could never, ever find me in a pair of drop crotch pants. I was horrified when I saw this girl actually wearing them outside the tents-in tie dye no less! Why anyone would want to look like they have a saggy bum is beyond me.
